The specifications in this section describe what Roku devices support, so that your apps and your content play correctly on every appropriate Roku device. Some specifications apply to everyone who puts content on the platform, and others apply only to apps.

Delivering content to The Roku Channel

If you distribute content on The Roku Channel, you deliver your media, metadata, and artwork according to the delivery specifications in the Roku Channel documentation, not the app specifications:

Title avails specifications for submitting the titles that you want to make available.
Live linear ingest specifications for live and linear content.
