Developer Summit 2026

Roku held its annual developer summit on September 23–24, 2026. The Developer Summit opened with the keynote address, which included an update on the streaming business, the evolution of the Roku home screen, new Developer Portal features, and engineering announcements covering Roku OS 16.0, the Roku Cloud Emulator, and the RSG 2.0 SDK.

After the keynote, a series of panel discussions were held over two days that included: RSG 2.0 SDK, Developer Portal UX beta, SceneGraph and BrightScript, Roku Cloud Emulator (RCE), Content Discovery and Destinations, Audience Growth, Roku Pay, Roku Ads, Community Tools, RSG 2.0 SDK Partner Success Stories, and AI Fireside Chat.
