MCP cdp_heap_sampling_stop
Description
Stop an active heap sampling capture started by cdp_heap_sampling_start and write the .heapprofile to disk.
Response includes metadata only:
- filePath
- bytes
Optional parameters:
- captureId (string): Handle returned by cdp_heap_sampling_start. Stops the active capture when omitted.
- sessionId (string): Session id returned by cdp_session_create. Uses the active session when omitted.
The resulting .heapprofile file loads directly in Chrome DevTools' Memory panel (Allocation sampling profile). Remember: it only shows allocations still live at this stop call, not total allocation churn since start -- see cdp_heap_sampling_start's description for why.
