MCP device_start
Description
Start a stopped Roku Cloud Emulator (RCE) device so other tools can deploy to and drive it. Starting takes a minute or two and is billed while the device runs (about $0.20 per hour).
The device must be registered with rk device add --rce. It boots its registered snapshot and runs for at most maxRuntimeSeconds (default: the registration's value, else 1800; never more than 7200). This rk server owns the device and stops it on device_stop, after 15 minutes (by default) with no tool call from this session or on the device, no open debug session on it and no other process attached, and when the server exits. A device that is already running is left as it is and is not owned by this server.
Limits: one running device per MCP session, two per server, three starts per MCP session and six per server an hour. Only callers on this machine may start devices, and only through a running rk server.
Parameters:
- device (string, optional): RCE device, e.g. "rce:my-tv". Uses the active device when omitted.
- maxRuntimeSeconds (number, optional): stop the device after this many seconds at the latest.
