ChannelStore signup/signin example

This sample shows how to integrate the ChannelStore component into a signup flow for a Roku app. It demonstrates how to use the RSG 2.0 SDK to create a user interface for creating an account and logging in.

Features

This sample uses the following ChannelStore methods:

• getUserRegionData to retrieve user region information for localization or region-specific experiences.
• getUserData to access user data for personalized experiences (for example, pre-populating an email field during signup or login).
• storeChannelCredData to save a user's authentication information securely in the cloud.
• getChannelCred to retrieve stored user information when needed (for example, signing in on additional devices).
• getDeviceAttestationToken to obtain a signed token a backend can verify as coming from a genuine device.

Setup

To use some of the features in this sample, you must designate a billing test app in your Roku developer account. See Billing testing for more information.
