MCP cdp_eval
Description
Evaluate a JavaScript expression in the global scope of the debugged Roku app via CDP Runtime.evaluate.
Delegates internally to debug_eval with runtime: "typescript" forced. The response gained a wrapping level after aliasing: the top-level result field is now the raw CDP Runtime.evaluate response, so callers read result.result.value (previously value sat directly at result.value).
Keeps working even after a cdpdebugger* tool (pause/resume/step/breakpoint/etc.) has enabled the Debugger domain on this connection: a device-internal pause this can trigger is detected and auto-resumed transparently, so this call still returns normally either way.
Required parameters:
- expression (string): JavaScript expression to evaluate.
Optional parameters:
- sessionId (string): Session id returned by cdp_session_create. Uses the active session when omitted.
Aliases
Alias of debug_eval; runtime="typescript".
